Product Overview

UtreSept - Intra Uterine Flush
Utresept is an all new intra uterine flush made from natural ingredients using new polysaccharide technology. The advantages of Utresept are many, being non toxic, food safe, hypoallergenic and non corrosive. Utresept has a prolonged residual effect, requires no rinsing and unlike many conventional astringent/cleanser its action is not depleted by contact with organic material.

Origin - Utresept was developed over the last five years by Marabou in the UK. It is part of their Goliath product line. It is packaged and distributed in North America exclusively by Integrated Bio Systems.

How it Works - Utresept's power is due to a synergistic action created by a reaction between natural organic acids and natural sugars. When Utresept is introduced into the uterus these natural organic acids and sugars combine with those naturally present in the animal to create a powerful and lasting effect. This gives Utresept its unique physical, chemical and biological properties.

FDA - All the ingredients in Utresept are listed by the FDA as having a GRAS status - Generally Regarded As Safe.

When to Use

  • Utresept is normally used when the animal is 12 days past calving

  • After Insemination - Use UtreSept between one hour and twenty four hours after insemination. Although Utresept is not spermicidal it is preferred to flush the uterus after the egg is fertilized.

The advantage with this product is that because it is not a drug and there is no milk with holding Utresept can be given in a "just to be sure" scenario without being concerned about the cost of discarded milk.

Directions For Use

Utresept is packaged in 500ml bottles as a concentrated product. For use, it is mixed with sterile demineralized water at the rate of 5 parts sterile water to one part of Utresept. The average flush amount given to dairy cows is 60 mls - 100 mls per flush.

Advantages

  • No milk withholding prevents discarded milk costs plus all the work required in removing the milk or the cow from the regular milking string

  • Non Corrosive and Hypoallergenic

  • Prolonged and significant residual power

  • Is not harmed by freezing (freeze thaw stable)

ENDORSEMENT:

“During my 14 plus years in practice with certified organic dairy cows, I have tried many different infusions for uterine infections, but have never found a consistently satisfactory treatment. OMRI certified UtreSept has changed that. I have seen astonishing results over anything else that I have ever tried, particularly on cows with uterine infections, that I had previously declared to be un-breedable. After infusion with UtreSept, many of them have cleared up and gotten pregnant. I believe that UtreSept is a superior product which dairy farmers will find invaluable for enhancing uterine health."
